MODEL CALL
I’m currently accepting a limited number of models in Austin and nearby areas. This is for individuals looking to enhance their brows, lips or eyeliner through cosmetic tattooing. Selected applicants will receive 50% off their procedure.
This is not a training event. I’m building my healed result portfolio and will be using professional camera equipment for all before, after and healed documentation. All models must consent to photo and video capture. Applications must be submitted online.
Preference will be given to individuals with bare brows or untreated lips and skin types I haven’t yet featured in my work. Every application is reviewed personally. If selected, I’ll reach out directly with next steps. This is an ongoing series, so if this round isn’t the right fit, there may be another one soon.
-
What if I’ve already had brow or lip tattooing? You are not eligible for this model call unless cleared in writing before applying. I do not work over previous tattoos unless you've booked a correction consult.
-
What procedures are available under the model call?Models can apply for one procedure: either ombre brows, nano brows, lip blush, lip neutralization or lash line eyeliner. You'll need to choose one area to focus on for this round of the model call.
-
How long do the results last? Results vary based on the procedure, skin type and lifestyle. Typically, PMU lasts between 1 to 3 years. Periodic touch-ups are recommended to maintain optimal appearance.
-
Will I be filmed during the appointment?Yes. This is a professional documentation project. If selected, you’ll be filmed from start to finish, including close-up skin footage and post-care follow-ups. All models must sign a full media release form.
-
What if I'm selected, what happens next?If you're selected, you'll receive a digital intake and consent form, full prep instructions, healing guidelines and a confirmed appointment time with the studio address.
-
Can I choose how much of my face is shown online? No. Full-face photography is part of the model agreement. If you're not comfortable being shown in promotional content, this opportunity isn't the right fit.
-
Is the procedure painful?Discomfort levels vary among individuals. A topical anesthetic is applied to minimize pain during the procedure. Most clients report minimal discomfort.
-
Who is eligible to be a model?Ideal candidates are individuals without prior cosmetic tattooing on the desired area, in good health and comfortable with photo and video documentation.
-
Who is not eligible to receive PMU or apply as a model? To protect your skin, your health and the quality of my work, not everyone is a candidate for cosmetic tattooing. You won't be eligible to apply if you're under 18, pregnant, breastfeeding, currently undergoing chemotherapy or have uncontrolled medical conditions like diabetes or epilepsy. I also don’t work on skin that’s sunburned, recently tanned, actively inflamed (acne, eczema, rosacea) or healing from recent filler or Botox. If you’ve had permanent makeup in the area you're applying for, you'll need clearance from me before proceeding.
-
What if I'm not selected this time? Not everyone is a match for every round. But I review every application myself. If this isn't the right fit now, you may be invited to apply in the future.
-
What is permanent makeup (PMU)?Permanent makeup or cosmetic tattooing, involves implanting pigment into the skin to replicate the appearance of makeup. Common procedures include ombre brows, lip blush and eyeliner enhancements.
-
Is the procedure free? No. This is not a giveaway. Models receive a 50% rate in exchange for full documentation access. This covers the cost of supplies and artist labor.
-
What is the healing process like?Initial healing takes about 7–10 days, during which minor swelling or scabbing may occur. Full healing and pigment settling can take up to 6 weeks.
